I had bookmarks and backgrounds and everything saved on my browser. My mac book died and now when i open it everything reset. I didn't have any profiles or sync on but why did everything reset. And am i able to get what I had back.

The recovery key for Firefox I saved a year ago won't work today. The Mozilla record of my secondary email address is corrupted and won't display, but when I try to add it the error is that the email address already exists. But it doesn't exist anywhere in the online account record data available to me! I need to enter new email addresses for both my primary and secondary firefox accounts. I'm almost 85 and feel resentful regarding the befuddlement of self service tech support that wastes so many hours on uncertain guessing about tech stuff I don't understand or know where to turn for resolution.

I have been using Easy Screenshot for years. Today I tried taking a screenshot and it opened a huge copy of the rectangular image I wanted to save in a new tab. Then there was no visible way to save the image. I used to get the option to save the image file in the same tab as the image I wanted to save. Took a screenshot and saved in Paint to show the contents of the Firefox window that image is huge and should have been 4 inches wide at most. Also the lack of how to save the image.

I'm wondering if this a because of the latest update. Firefox 147.0.1 X64 desktop WIN10 22h2 with ESU

I had been using with several companies when I was working with their other companies. Now that I've completed most for my laptops, I've tried to cancel most of companies and avoid companies I that still try to seek more work.

You may have seen that I had a couple of laptops. There are two laptops, one that has a 10 top laptop and no more on the and the new laptop that has a 11 laptop.

I have been using [email1] @gmail.com and [email2] @gmail.com. I have been using both for some people. I can use only just to [email2[ @gmail.com. I always try to use only users I know. I also have protections I uses. My problem, I'm not familiar with Mozilla default for Firefox and your way the data and is safe in the one or two? I don't know how to handle the default. If I had the time to look the default I'd have to check, I would.

My brother has been having problems for several about two years. He was very smart and has been 11 years older than me. I've been helping him to a few trips to his home until his heart could not handle it.

My home desktop computer is asking for a network login to access the internet today, after FireFox crashed. I do not see anywhere to login. Please help. I have a Mini Mac. I am at a library as my internet is not working.

Please tell me what to do to get the bookmarks back. Up to date Firefox: 147.01. Mac OS Sequoia: 15.5.

I had the Toolbar and Bookmarks Library yesterday. All are gone today. I have already spent much time reading on Mozilla site and Reddit. I will have to go to Safari and work from there.

I will check back periodically to see if I get any help.

My Bookmarks and History are completely gone. I tried the recommended procedure to restore them from a back-up, but the supposedly automatic back-up files are completely empty. I have no idea how this might have happened. I have tried disabling some of my anti-virus apps to no avail. The only thing I can think of is that I may inadvertantly erased them when I ran a CCleaner scan. I could really use some help here!

my old email was discontinued kanokla no longer provides the service ,so i got a gmail address and i wish to update my primary but i cant because i need a 6 digit code from my kanokla email which doesnt exist any more.so i cannot update my info because i am working towards installing Linux and i am trying to get everything in order. can you help please my new email is smemerson100@gmail.com

Why was it done? Is there a setting I can change so I can see them work as animated favicons? Will you change this on your next update? Otherwise, I am going to have to roll-back the version.

Firefox was using GOBS of CPU, so I killed the master process and relaunched, but after launch I couldn't get any pages to finish loading. I then hoped to copy URLs from tabs and paste them into Floorp (which is working fine, as is Chrome), but I couldn't even snag the URLs (dominated by YouTube pages). I ran a full-system virus scan, finding nothing. The most recent Windows-11 update on 2026-Jan-15 isn't recent enough to be a likely causal factor. Firefox has about twice as many extensions as Floorp, but it was running fine until late yesterday (it's now after 3AM). I couldn't get the extensions page to load, so I've attached a screenshot of C:\Users\Mike2\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\oa7ou5xk.default-release-1715337056307\extensions There are several other profiles, but there's very little in them (one profile with a times.json & several profiles containing a parent.lock file)

If I reinstall, will I lose all of my tabs?

When I try to full screen any streaming site on Firefox I can see the desktop on the edges, the video isn't fully centered on the screen. I have tried updating Firefox, my drivers, restarting my computer and even checking to make sure the resolution and aspect ration were good. Is there maybe an issue or bug I can try and resetting with a setting on the browser?

I had to install a new OS disk. So, I created an account, and made a synchronization. Then, I made a security backup. When I installed the SO and Firefox, I logged in to sync. As soon as I logged, it automatically started to sync the random tiles it had after install. So, I had to use the places.sqlite and favicon.sqlite files. It got me half the tiles, and even those were misplaced. So, I had to go for the security html, and I finally got everything I wanted. But, now it says the account is not associated. If I login to associate it, when I shut down the PC, it returns to those half tiles, and out of order.

How can I get this right?

Thanks for taking the time to look at this, simply put I am using the 'workspaces' app in windows power toys which allows me to open windows in specific configurations to make a workspace. The app allows me to open other apps with CLI args, so I can open Firefox to a preset url, or even predefined set of tabs.

This has got me wanting to use my firefox tab groups as a way of opening "dynamic" windows in my workspace. All that would be needed is a way to open a specific tab group from CLI, or more specifically a CLI arg that I can input into power toys workspace.

Please let me know if there is a way to do this. I checked the Firefox CLI [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/CommandLineOptions|documentation] and didn't find anything though.

If I delete my history of the websites I go on or delete my emails in which I use Yahoo and Gmail is there a way to save them in case I need some information from them in the future? Another words, they may be deleted in my history and I delete my emails in which i delete them also from my trash folder can I store them someone else that will let me see them in the future? Thanks

I have entered in exceptions for a web page that Firefox continues to block....I have gone through your steps 4 times now...one time out of 4 you actually let the web page through....since then you don't again...what is wrong with your system? as I am not receiving a download link from the intended exception due to the fact you are not honoring it....
